Grape varieties : 100% Merlot which produces very varietal wines and powerful aromas. Originates from the Bordeaux winegrowing region and well acclimatized to the terroirs in the south of France (over 68,000 ha).
Origin : Geographic location: The Vin de Pays d’Oc wine growing region is omnipresent in Languedoc. It extends from the south of the Côtes du Rhône to Carcassonne.
Vinification : Grapes harvested at perfect ripeness, destemmed, treaded and fermented for about six to 12 days. The fermentation temperature is regulated so it does not exceed 32°C and the fruit is gently pressed. The wine is then racked, filtered and bottled.
Colour : Very intense ruby red.
Nose : Red fruit, blackcurrants, cherries, raspberry jam.
Palate : Wine with velvet tannins and a fine long taste.
Recommendations : Perfect to serve with white meats, poultry, grilled meats and all kinds of cheese.
