Abraham Perold, recognised as the father of Pinotage and considered the pioneer of modern South African viticulture, dedicated his life to the vine. His genius as a veritable master of wine influenced every aspect of wine production.

The same sense of quality and perfection that were his hallmarks went into production Perold-a truly exceptional wine, named after a truly exceptional man.

The Mentors range of wines received one Double Gold and three Gold medals at the 2023 Lumo Awards.
