Neethlingshof The Caracal 2023 is a vegan-friendly red blend from the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection, crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Deep ruby in colour, it shows richly pronounced aromas of black cherry, black plum and blackcurrant, layered with subtle hints of white pepper, cigar box and leather.
Elegant yet full-bodied, the palate reveals flavours of blackberry and sour black cherry, with concentrated fruit leading into a savoury, tar-like finish. Well-structured and firm tannins give this wine excellent depth, with the potential to develop further over the next 10 years.
